Verisona Participates in Wills For Supporters of Third Sector Organisations

May 2011

The Free Wills Network involves participating law firms (solicitors that are represented by the Law Society) creating simple wills for individuals through third sector organisations involved in the scheme.   Charities fund the cost of the will on behalf of their supporters and Verisona charge concessionary rates.  Many charities have taken up the scheme to help increase the number of legally prepared wills being created for those involved in the charity and to offer closer ties with supporters.

The scheme has assisted over 4,000 individuals since its inception and charities involve 23 organisations,  including Barnardos and the Stroke Association.  Most charities offer free wills on a limited availability.

Publicity for the scheme is undertaken by the charities for their supporters.  Individuals interested in the scheme should contact the charity they work with and support for confirmation of participation in the scheme.
