Verisona is delighted to announce that law graduate, Rebbecca Stone has been awarded the Verisona prize for her excellent achievements in LLB Law with Business studies at Portsmouth University. The award was revealed at the University’s annual graduation ceremony in Guildhall on 14 July.

Working in collaboration with the University, Verisona contributed a cash prize in support of the talented graduates in law with business. The winning student, Rebbecca was selected for her strong academic performance and her position as one of the highest achieving law graduates. She gained a first class honors degree whilst also coming top of her year for Law with Business. Rebbecca is now considering her future career and will also spend time at Verisona’s Lakeside offices to explore the firm’s business and commercial law practice and its operations. 

Richard Solly, Chief Executive at Verisona who presented the award to Rebbecca said: “We have been extremely impressed with Rebbecca’s academic achievements to date and the dedication she has shown throughout her studies. Through her work, she has certainly shown some inspirational qualities, which also demonstrates the strong caliber of legal practitioners we have coming through in the South. I am, of course, delighted for Rebbecca and I am confident she will be very successful in her future career”.

As a law firm with a strong commercial practice, Verisona will seek to continue its collaboration with Portsmouth University in support of the valued education it provides to students in law and business.
