Verisona has reinforced its commercial property practice with the appointment of a new director, Chris Allnutt. Formerly a partner in Blake Lapthorn’s property group, Chris joins the team of lawyers at Verisona’s 1000 Lakeside office in Portsmouth where he will play a key role in further enhancing the firm’s commercial property offering to clients.
Chris brings a wealth of commercial property experience ranging from the disposal and acquisition of all forms of premises to landlord and tenant issues. He assists landlords and tenants in equal measure and advises on the sale and acquisition of investment premises and development work including option agreements. Chris has particular expertise in secured lending having acted for a broad range of individual and medium to large portfolio lends for all of the main high street clearing banks.
Chris also has considerable experience in property related insolvency work having acted for administrators, liquidators, receivers and trustees in bankruptcy in the sale of all forms of commercial property including the disposal of multi property portfolios. He advises buyers of both individual and portfolio properties from insolvency practitioners.
